The ASICS GEL Kayano 27 delivers consistent comfort and endless amortization over any distance. It’s ideal for runners with low and flat arches.
It is thanks to the ASICS company that we no longer have to deal with an unnecessarily wide last. Two separate features are seen in the Gel-Kayano 27: one in the heel and one in the forefoot.
The Dynamic Duomax and Trusstic arch support systems, as well as the MetaClutch heel exoskeleton system, all have stabilizing elements in the heel. They all work together to keep the stride stable and steady.

The exoskeleton heel counter and padded heel collar grip your foot while running, adding stability. This fit complements the midsole stabilization systems.
You won’t feel any discomfort because the upper is perfectly smooth. They run true to size and aren’t as wide as the previous edition.
ASICS Gel Kayano 27 Sole Unit
The sole is packed with technologies that work for your comfort and stable movement. Under the Eva insole, spEVA 45, FlyteFoam Lyte, and FlyteFoam Propel complement each other.
The materials used are extremely durable and provide grip in both wet and dry weather. After a hundred miles, the outsole showed only a small degree of wear.
Dynamic Duomax technology helps hyperpronation by supporting the foot and bringing it into the flattest plane.
This is a dual-density midsole system, similar to a medial post. In the front, it extends from where the external heel counter begins down to the arch’s front edge.
The wide Trusstic insert is also made to make running feel more stable and give you more confidence.
A Gel is located in the toe and heel parts of the sole – a special type of silicone that reduces the load on the musculoskeletal system, absorbing shock while running.
The sole and lower part of the sole are equipped with flex grooves. The outsole’s extra-deep grooves increase the shoe’s suppleness and make the transition from heel or midfoot striking to toe takeoff much more seamless.
